Although QuickBooks is designed for the layman to understand, the initial setup and procedures for recording transactions correctly are crucial for future information to be accurate and informative. Our firm will meet with you to get an understanding of how your business operates, and customize your accounting structure and procedures. QuickBooks has the ability to be a very useful management tool for businesses from the small professional service provider to the large union contractor, depending on how it is set up and utilized.

There are many decisions to be made regarding your system setup and ongoing procedures. We have over 15 years of experience setting up QuickBooks and training clients how to use it successfully. We provide all of the training necessary for our clients and their staff to be successful. We take the stress and frustration out of the equation for clients when processing their daily transactions and preparing their financial and management reports.

One very valuable tool included in QuickBooks software is the budgeting and forecasting module. Budgeting and forecasting is essential for setting goals, measuring your performance, and keeping your business on the right path. Once set up, you can generate a report that shows your actual revenue and expenses compared to your set budget or forecast at the touch of a button.

Taking a QuickBooks class is an option, but your time and money will be far better spent with our training because we first get an understanding of how your business operates, and then we train you to use QuickBooks functions that are specific to your business. Classes are not specific to your business practices or industry. Once your QuickBooks is set up and you have had some time to enter some transactions and follow the procedures that we have taught you, we meet with you again to answer additional questions and make sure you the data you have entered has been entered correctly. If any of your transactions need to be modified, we teach you what and why.
